Join us this April for Earth Month 2012 where our focus is raising money to help provide clean safe water for children and adults around the world. All money raised will go to WaterAid UK whose mission is to transform lives by providing access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities.

the facts

  • About 1/8th of the worlds population do not have access to clean, safe water
  • Dirty water and poor sanitation spread water borne diseases that can debilitate families and their communities
  • 1.4 million children die every year from drinking dirty water
  • that is nearly 4000 children’s lives lost each day
  • that is the same as 160 classes of primary school children dying every single day
  • a £16 donation will enable a person to access a lasting supply of clean water

We aim to raise at least £500 through fundraising activities such raffles and sponsored events. We also have two offers from which all proceeds go directly to the Earth Month Fund.
